Orange Julius Wannabe Drink

I love Orange Julius. So here's a wannabe Orange Julius drink recipe I made that tastes pretty good.  Give it a try!

Ingredients

  • 1 can frozen orange juice concentrate (I use Minute Maid)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Put everything in a blender except the ice.  Blend until smooth.  Add in the ice.  If your blender doesn't fit or is too full, you may have to blend it twice in separate batches.

Enjoy!

I tried this out today as my husband and I are fans of smoothies and take every opportunity to utilize our Ninja blender. This is very yummy and similar to Orange Julius in taste. It reminded me of orange creamicle. I have also tried to replicate the Orange Julius smoothie as well (no success) and heard that the secret ingredient is actually flat soda. Anyways my blender was definitely too small to hold all the ingredients so I did it in two batches. Thanks again!

Very cool! I love drinking this during summer and whenever I get a craving for something orange and creamy! :-) Glad you tried it.

Hi AnnieLove all your receipes.  I tried the chicken feet and my bf loved it!  He totally loved the sauce. Thanks for a great new receipe that i will be using.  I wanted to ask if you know how to make pad thai?  I've tried, but it never turns out right and i've watched youtube, but still never turns out right.

Excelelnt recipe! Drink freshly extracted orange juice instead of using taste makers, to stay fit and fine.

I will not like to add water, because it will dilute the solution. I can even put it in a freezer, and eat it as ice cream. Thanks!
